In this issue: We are happy to inform you about an exciting new development: a collaboration between the European sub-committee of ICCRS (ESCI) and RELaY. A conference, 20th - 24th of April 2005, to examine the question: What progress have we made in re-evangelizing our continent in the last 30 year?

This is the press-release:

Re-Evangelizing Europe: Beyond the Theory

Conference for Christian leaders in Europe takes place April 20th –24th 2005 in the Czech Republic

For the first time the European Catholic Charismatic Renewal and RELaY (Reconciliation, Evangelization, Leadership and Youth) are partnering together to organize a conference for European Leaders. Subtitled ‘Beyond the Theory’ the conference aims to explore the issue of  how to make the re-evangelization of Europe a concrete reality.  There will be input by key note speakers, intense exchange and networking.

Theme

Pope Paul VI’s letter "Evangelii nuntiandi - On Evangelization in the Modern World” (1975) has been both the subject of countless seminars and courses as well as the inspiration for numerous evangelistic initiatives across Europe. What progress have we made in re-evangelizing our continent? During this conference we want to examine this question, looking specifically at the experience of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Europe. This conference is not intended just for people involved in evangelistic ministry, rather, it is geared towards Christian leaders who are desiring to share and find ways to see their prayer group, community, youth group, parish move “beyond the theory” towards sustainable and fruitful evangelization.

Speakers

Michelle Moran is the Ministry Director for the Sion Catholic Community for Evangelism in UK and currently the chair person for the European sub committee of the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (ICCRS).
